Alright, Surrogate Trading has officially opened up on ManNHL Lockout. How this will work is that you will contact the PR with a PM (AND PR ONLY, not Leafs) titled: Surrogate - Team Name. You will then send your offer to the PR and negotiate a trade based on the seven open teams: Furthermore, those seven teams are lacking a GM and are thus going bankrupt. Whatever teams do not find a new owner by the end of the season will be considered bankrupt and will forfeit their franchise, including their players. At the end of the season, all teams will be able to switch their team name with one of the above seven if they so choose to do so, but you will keep your players. For this season, you can trade with these teams as surrogate offers, but following the conclusion of the season, (IF THEY DO NOT HAVE A GM) they will go bankrupt, and surrogate trading will never happen again. Our priorities are still committed to filling these teams, but recognize the difficulty in maintaining 7 open teams. For free agency, all players on teams considered bankrupt will become free agents and hit the open market. No surrogate trades with any of these teams will happen following the trade deadline. Note: Draft picks cannot be traded to or from these teams because should a team go bankrupt, these teams will not go to the draft and thus cannot use YOUR pick NOR would their picks be available to be used.

love the idea, improves each team with better players, less lower quality players will be drafted, better draftees with low 1sts and the best part of this idea, added pressure to fill these teams.
