I'm taking a shot at Malkin with one defender, even when my defence will suffer without him. If I give up Weber and Suter, my defence is fucked. What I will do though, is give you Suter and a 1st in the Patty Kane Draft ('07) straight up. You improve your defence and get a possible steal in the draft, and I get a quality forward for my top line

we don't know what Rookies are rated yet, so we can't have any draft steals yet. If we get any rookie ratings out, I may consider something.

Pretty sure the '07 draft will have a bunch of 80+ players. I can see the top 20 be 80 and above.

That woudn't even come close to Malkin though. Suter and an 80 for Malkin. I can keep Malkin and bench him and get Kane myself and then I have Kane to play with Malkin

Remember the last time you benched Malkin and Fleury? You just about made the playoffs, so don't start thinking that benching Malkin will get you Kane. Plus, by the time the '07 draft comes along, Malkin may not want to be playing on your team because you'll probably bench him all year as well.
