Alright, now, Canes hasn't accepted this trade yet, but before the league makes a decision on the trade I'd like an explanation from Carolina on why this trade is most beneficial for them.

I seriously think that this trade should be vetoed. Carolina, even though he hates Cam Ward, is still getting seriously shafted in this trade. It would be better if he kept Ward.

Really? Because as of the Lockout, Cam Ward has yet to make an NHL appearance. So, essentially, I'm trading a proven goaltender to someone who MIGHT be good in the future.

Rejected on the following reasons:
1. Canes had even stated in the cbox he thought this was 1994, and not 2004 (which is kind of odd since Cam Ward was like 12 at the time) but regardless, at this time, Kolzig is five years removed from retired, on his way down in his career and is not a Stanley Cup competing goaltender any longer.
2. The fact that Cam Ward's potential is to become a top 3 goalie for Team Canada as opposes to Kolzig's near retirement is also a factor.
3. The league is in near unanimous decision to reject the trade, and since we don't have trade mods and all trades are considered approved until rejected, having the league stand behind the rejection in great support makes it a rejected trade.
You guys can certainly try again, but the trade as it currently sits is rejected. Furthermore, Canes response in here as to why he wants to do the trade isn't exactly a strong argument.
The PR must now rule in favor of the trade or my response to determine if it is now officially rejected or approved. The PR can overrule my decision.
