Alright, so this is the big mini-game we're introducing to ManNHL websites. Since the season is a few games in already, I should have had this posted a few days ago, but meh, unless you go through every game to figure out who was good on a three-game example, no one is going to have a real benefit.
So here's how it works.
1. You post in this thread saying you want to participate. 2. You select 6 Forwards, 4 Defencemen, and 1 Goaltender. 3. Throughout the season, you collect points, and your points and standings will be posted by Leafs. 4. You earn 1 Point for each of the following: - Your player has earned a point (goalies included) - Your player has earned a penalty (1 point per 2 PIM) - Your goaltender has won a game - Your goaltender has earned a shutout
The most points at the end of the year (playoffs included) wins.
Playoffs are included to make it extra interesting. Some people may select for immediate success of a player, others may guess at who wins a cup to get an extra 4 to 20 games at the end to collect more points.
There are no trades, and you cannot change your picks after we start. You select who you want, you post your team in this thread, you see how you do at the end of the year. It's that simple. It's a side-game mini fantasy pool based on our own site. Can't acquire Alex Ovechkin? Now you can have him in your pool.

You selected Edler as a forward and defenceman, replace him on forward as he doesn't count as a forward.

That is odd. I would have definitely went with Lemieux over Savard.

Some pretty good teams in this. I'm glad that all teams have at least one different player on each roster. That is absolutely necessary.
